How much does it cost to use this site? Nothing! Africa Free Market is exactly what the name says: FREE! NOTE: We will never send you a mail asking you for credit card number, bank information, etc. How many ads am I allowed to post? You may post as many ads as you like, but please do not post ads for the same thing more than once. For example, if you are selling a camera and have 3 units available to sell, please do not post 3 ads. Instead post one ad and state that you have 3 units for sale. How long will my ad be listed on this site? We perform ad cleanups once every 6 months, so any ad more than 6 months old will be deleted. If your ad is almost 6 months old and you would like us to leave it longer than six months, please send us a mail and let us know. We are happy to fulfill your request. What should I do once I no longer need my ad (I sold what I advertised)? Once you have sold your item, or no longer wish to have your ad on the site, please go to "Edit An Ad" and delete the ad. If you have any trouble with this, please send us a mail and we will delete it for you. What are target countries? Target countries are countries in which you would like to try and sell your item. For example, someone in Zambia might choose the target countries Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi as they are closeby. After choosing a list of target countries, your ad will show up for people searching for ads for one of those countries. So for example, the previous ad would show up on a list of ads that someone from Zimbabwe searched for. However, anyone may view your ad by simply clicking on category list, as ads from all countries appear on those lists. Why do I need a password to post an ad? The password is so you can edit your ad posting later on. The password ensures that only you may edit your ad. This password is sent to you via e-mail when you make a posting, so please refer to that e-mail for your reference number and password if you forget. What if I can't find the mail with my reference number and password? You can retrieve the reference numbers for posts you've made or a password for a specific post at any time by clicking the links below: I need my reference number I need my password for my ad posting |
